+ REVIEWS:

ITreviews reviews the Virgin Mobile Lobster 700TV, they write:
“Does it work? Yes it does. You have to have the headset plugged in as this is where the antenna sits, just as you normally do with any handset that has an FM radio built in. The Lobster 700TV works, and it works pretty well. But its TV channel range is limited, it is large and heavy and the battery life is something of a let-down. We aren’t sure we are quite ready yet to give up our neat, small, pocket-friendly phone just to get mobile TV.”

Trustedreviews reviews the Virgin Mobile Lobster 700TV, they rated the phone 7.3/10 write:
“TV-wise you get BBC1, ITV1, Channel 4 and E4. But note: Channel 4 is just showing its Short Cuts service, a made for mobile TV channel, and the BBC service is available only on a 12 month trial basis… For both TV and radio you have to have the stereo headset plugged in, as this contains the antenna. It is truly annoying that this has a 2.5mm jack with no provided converter to 3.5mm, and that the jack is on the bottom edge of the casing. As for performance, I had no trouble picking up TV broadcasts – though I didn’t have an opportunity to test the system in fast moving situations such as when on a train.”

CNET reviews the Virgin Mobile Lobster 700TV, they rated the phone 6.3/10 write:
“The navigation button has a nice design tweak, as it has three square corners and a rounded one. The two softkey buttons are small and long — again, they are easy to find and press. On the upper-right edge is a control button for the built-in camera. Its lens is on the back. The left side has a volume rocker.”

Pcw reviews the Virgin Mobile Lobster 700TV, they rated the phone 3/5 write:
Pros: Reasonable quality in good reception areas; uses DAB network instead of 3G; good battery life. Cons: Limited channels; not good on the move; small screen; not 3G. Overall: Gadget freaks will love it, but we still don’t see TV on mobile phones taking off”

ComputerActive reviews the Virgin Mobile Lobster 700TV, they rated the phone 4/5 and write:
“As for TV, the Lobster 700TV includes four stations - BBC1, ITV1, E4 and Channel 4. The first three are simulcasts, showing exactly what the respective TV transmissions receive. Channel 4, though, for now shows short made-for-mobile TV clips with the main channel expected to follow later. Video quality was excellent when staying in one place, but occasionally the signal dropped or was out of sync, though the radio signal was more robust…Good points: Great DAB radio reception, Strong video quality for watching live TV, Easy to use. Bad points: Limited choice of TV channels , Average camera.”
