Same here, i am also a complete newbie here.. I just find this tutorial a very cool one.. I am having trouble starting from step 3.. after opening the stone texture, and dragged it… what’s the next thing to do? I mean, i have a problem with changing the layer mode to multiply… How to do it?! help me plz.. tnx!

I’m totally lost between steps 4 and 5. I completed everything like it was written and when I try to use the clone stamp it won’t let me. Is there a particular layer I need to be on?

open a file in photoshop: file > open > choose your file > ok. Then drag your stone texture image to your portrait.
If you can\’t find the texture, you might want to try http://images.google.com/ and use keywords: stone texture
