Gamespot has a review of the Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 (Xbox 360) rated it 8.7/10 and writes;
“There’s not just more multiplayer content in the form of new maps and new weapons, but there’s also stronger gameplay. For example, the graphics in multiplayer now match the quality of the single-player game, something that didn’t happen in the original GRAW. The new levels are fairly big, large enough to make even 16-player games feel roomy, and their design is inspired.”
GameSpy has a review of the Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 (Xbox 360) rated it 5/5 and writes;
“Beyond the improved AI and riveting plot, the pacing of the missions has been vastly improved as well, and I found myself being introduced to the new features of GRAW 2 on a regular schedule…Pros: New support units to command; your squad can finally keep itself alive; stunning graphics and presentation. Cons: Better AI means robots will soon take over the Earth and make us all their slaves; what, you don’t like fun?.”
GameTrailers has a review of the Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 (Xbox 360) rated it 9.2/10 and writes;
“There are 62 different weapons, and each one has its own unique characteristics. Just about the time you fall in love with one, you’ll gain access to a new one that’s even better. Each gun has its own feel, fire rate, shot pattern, and optical zoom level. You can take cover behind just about any object in the game and pop out to fire or squeeze off some rounds completely blind. It all works well.”
TeamXbox has a review of the Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 (Xbox 360) rated it 9.2/10 and writes;
“The ability to use the cross-com system was one of the most innovative elements of the first game, and it’s actually become a much bigger part of the gameplay than it was before. This time, holding down the right bumper will bring up a full-screen view of whatever part of your team you have selected (you’ll once again switch between them using the D-pad), and you can give them orders or actually control them while in that view.”
TeamXbox has a review of the Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 (Xbox 360) rated it 9.1/10 and writes;
“Capitalizing on last year’s successful Cross-com and Nar-com devices, Ubisoft enhanced and improved its communication tools with one big step. Nearly all of the addition support teams now offer first-person perspectives and commands to control them independently in real-time.”
Xbox360 The Official Magazine has a review of the Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 (Xbox 360) rated it 9/10 and writes;
“One thing’s for sure, however. With a faster-paced Ghost Recon and a more freeform Rainbow Six, the Tom Clancy universe is showing signs of convergence towards a simple, perfect, tactical gaming experience. A few games down the line, maybe they’ll be interchangeable.”
Gamebrink has a review of the Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 (Xbox 360) rated it 90/100 and writes;
“With a mix of team-based gameplay, solo missions, stealth missions, and the ability to command unmanned vehicles, GRAW 2’s single player campaign delivers a lot of variety. Just like in the first there are a large handful of “Holy crap did that just happen?” moments that escalate the experience above pretty much every other game on the market. It’s somewhat troubling that the single player campaign only lasts a good 7 hours but if you’re a believer in quality over quantity then you won’t be disappointed.”
