Not only that, T-Mobile Sidekick LX also weigh lesser than Sidekick 3 that is 5.7 ounces. T-Mobile Sidekick LX is available in two colours including espresso brown and midnight blue. It aso features 1.3-megapixel camera, MP3 and AAC music player, bluetooth, microSD expansion slot and up to 6.8 hours of talk time. It will be available online from 24 October 2007 pricing $299.99 (2 year contract).

Hey I just got the sidekick lx about 4 days agon and I love it. Its the first sidekick I hav ever had. Its cool to hav this one as my first one.
i jus wanted to know how is the call quality . . . and if u could hear the person on the other line and speaker phone and stuff like that cause i kno its great for messaging but call wise do you think its good?

The sidekick LX is an improvement over the SK3 but I have noticed that its kinda hard for people on the other line to hear me when im talking. Also when using the mp3 player with volume turned up to maximum the music sounds like its barely on. This could just be the sidekick I happened across though
I have the same problems, people have a hard time hearing me and sometimes they hear themselves echoing. I get horrible service, and are always in and out of reception. Gets kinda annoying. When I play mp3s without headphones you can barely hear it too.

I’ve had my sidekick lx for almost a month and its great. The only thing it lacks is the speaker could be louder because the ring tones play extremely low. But other than that. Its every IM DREAM. LOL
Hey this is my first sidekick ever and I love it the 2 problems I that on the internet you have to scroll down a lot and the other problem is that you have no video capabilities that means no youtube or recording videos other than that I love this phone.
This is Μy 4th sidekick… i have had all the model sidekicks and feel that the LX is a very nice phone in apperance but performance wise the sidekick 2 was much better.. The 3 was also horrible with connection… other then that i love the screen and messeging.. But sucks for calls =\ oh well

hey, can you record songs and make them your ringtones? i have had a few phones where i could do that && its saved me a lot of money on downloads. also can i put my own picture as the wallpaper? im very big on customizing my phones. thanks for any help.
You can not do either.
You can make your own theme though through a site, and put in onto your sidekick, but I’m sure that’s a hassle.
good, messeging is fun to do, everything u want in a phone, but i dont like the speaker that much but cmon its just a phone its not a stereo system

I sleep wit it in my hands and I neva let it get out of hands reach becuz im always gettin a im or txt like evry minute so I neva put it down. I would definitly recommend this phone to anybody. Its like a lil portable computer in my purse!!! I LOVE THIS PHONE 2 DEATH!!!! Im used to havin a video and stuff but im koo….And yall be complaining about tha camera and its not even that bad. I mean yall the ones that bought it and if yall read other reviews yall would’ve found out that the camera is bad, so yall be trippin cuz it aint as bad as yall make it seem. The sidekick lx is the best, everyone always complains about the camera and video and music player. A phone is never perfect its a phone not a computer of course its not gonna be perfect. I love the sidekick lx and there is gonna be an update sent from tmobile to every sidekick owner. The update is gonna have bluetooth support, new aim and email features, video,spell check and other things. The sidekick lx is the best phone!

The ota is sent out to people randomly. Its should be out to everyone by mid July.

The sklx (sidekick lx) owns I’m sending this msg through it and the full “qwerty” key board is great. I had an I.d. (Another sidekick the 1 be4 the sk 3 I think) and I got the ota update on my b-day I can fucking take video and put videos from youtube and put them on my lx via vixy.net I have an iphone to and I buy videos from itunes a lot so I put the on my 3g iphone and on my lx. My lx is my work phone and my 3g is my normal phone my 3g is black.
And hence I’m an iphone dev. I get at&t phones for free and my 16gig iphone I had to pay but I can get another for free.

Hey this phone is poppin! I really like it. I had a sidekick3 when it first came out and I really liked it so I knew I would love this one more when I saw it. and I do. I went to get on christmas eve but they were all out of everything so I got a samsung blast. (which is corney) I went back to return it so I could get a nother phone the day after christmas and they had them in stock and so I got it and it is the shit. Every one the camera is really good and music plays every thing. It is my prize pasesion.

To be completly honest…. Sidekick LX is ALL hype. Im on it right now and its nothing spectacular. The keyboard is a full keyboard of couse but the buttons are harder to push down unlike the previose sidekicks. Although the screen is much better if the light is completly turned on you lose power in 3x the time . It uses wayyyyy too much power. With the update you can record but its of poor quality and only 20 seconds long.Of All the sidekicks its the best. However that doesn’t say much. The Sidekick3 was limited to emailing.
Sidekick ID didn’t even have a camera
Sidekick08 is flimsy and VERY breakable.
Sidekick has picture messaging a camera and is fairly sturdy (not nearly as sturdy as the 3 obviosly)
Bottom Line-Not worth the hype.
I have had my lx for 2 years very grat service and the upgrade made it an even better phone. Great for kids or adults :)
Ok i have the LX now and it kinda is good but the Signel is bad but
the Texting is the Best and the Internet is Good u just have to Fix it the
way u want it its easy and here are some Tricks for your sidekick go
to Menu and Scrol Down to about sidekick LX and when u are their press Menu shitf 8 at the same time its a Game and u will Love it Mybe NOT but
i like it and the sidekick LX will never have youtube on it so dont even try to

hay i just got my side kicklx and its the best phone i have ever had but the tools are hard to use like how do i put up a picture as my background and how do i change my ringtone but other than that i love my phone
i had my side kick for about 5 days i love it but it takes up to much time trying to make your own them nobody wants to keep going online to make a them pluse its its to confusing how the hell do you make a song you download a ring tone i think imight just trade it back in for a black berry the camera is better the video is better
