I gotta sidekick 08 and i was trying to get alerts when i get a txt first i did the imported music but it played a different song than what i selected. Then i did the discreet thingy and chose strobe it don’t light up at all. Can someone tell me how to make the new msg alerts work?

create another folder labeled Ringtones (Images, Videos, Music, etc) do this by plugging your sidekick into your computer, right click removable disk drive G and select new, then folder. (for windows) then just add the media to its respected place

okay so i’ve been trying to set a ringtone on my sidekick for a while.
when i go to phone messaging>text messaging>settings>then new message alert it doen’t work and yes i do press the done key.

it just doesn’t work !

and it is very irritating !

I will never recomend this phone to anyone. I have nothing but problems why the hell can they charge you money for the service but not come thru or fix the problems. I have the same bull shit problems as everyone else this phone don’t suck its the ms danger os and all there fucked up programmers. Do your jobs ass holes were paying you

get on the web browser and go to myxer.com
Chose a ringtone (pretty much any song you can think of)
It will go directly to your ringtone folder when you click download.

ok, i imported all my contacts on to my phone, FROM my SIM, and when people txt me all i see is is their # and not their name, can you please tell me how i can view the sender when i recieve txts instead of replying 1st?

yes you can convert your songs on your phone i got mine and the first thing i did was downloaded songs to it and i converted tons of songs to ringtones for instance the bleeding by five finger death punch to ringtones you go to myxer.com and create and account and you follow directions frome there

okay theres this place called CPR (Cell Phone Repair) in riverside, Ca. you can ship your phone out to them and they can fix almost anything wrong with your phone. My screen broke and i could not see anything, it was completly black and cracked. i drove up there and within 45 minutes my phone was fixed and great again in a short amount of time! They are really great. and really cheap, i cost roughly 100 dollars.

I got my sk 08 about 2 months ago. 1 day i lost signal and i had 2 turn it off. So then i have the my fave plan and now it doesnt show up..all i see is the part where it says phone. And so then i had 2 keep turning it off and on again. But sometimes it comes back but then when i loose signal it does the same thing over again. And it doesnt vibrate, and also….how do i rest the account that i made when i first got it?
it would mean alot if i got ana answer. Thank You!!!!
