+ REVIEWS:
IGN reviews the Superman Returns, they rated the game 5.5/10 and write:
“Presentation aside, Superman Returns does do plenty of things well in the gameplay department. Flying at super-speed is a great feeling, and zipping between the skyscrapers of Metropolis feels even better than wall-crawling in the acclaimed Spiderman games. Superman comes equipped with most of his powers, including heat vision, freeze breath and blow breath, although X-ray vision is absent, most likely to keep the game rated T for Teen, if ya know what I mean. Because Superman is pretty much invincible, it is Metropolis that features a life bar, and it’s up to you to ensure it doesn’t deplete.”
Teambox reviews the Superman Returns, they rated the game 6.7 and write:
“Those that have played the Superman Returns: The Videogame demo will know that the core gameplay mechanics of this title aren’t bad. The flying system is quite good, allowing for quick and accurate travel to the city’s objectives. The targeting system does its job, and the special powers seem to be in line with one would expect in the comic or in any one of the movies…I think EA Tiburon did a pretty good job for the size of the world, but don’t expect to be “blown away” by the visuals.”
