Building on the success of the uniquely designed Samsung K5, the Samsung K3 is a slimmer, sleeker version which comes without slide out speakers, offering consumers the freedom to choose their player to match their needs. At less than 7mm thick and just 50g in weight, the Samsung K3 is ultra slim and will make the perfect companion for the sophisticated music lover on the go. Featuring the Samsung trademark glossy piano black finish and blue illuminated touch sensitive controls, the player features a 1.8” colour OLED display screen.
The Samsung K3 combines sleek and sexy looks with technological performance, convenience and ease of use. With the Samsung K3 you are not restricted to one source of music. The player is compatible with all the major operating systems and with MP3, WMA and ASF audio file formats, allowing you to enjoy your music ‘your way’. Available in three sizes (2GB, 4GB and 8GB), the Samsung K3 can hold up to 4000 WMA tracks (8GB). In addition to storing your favourite tunes, the Samsung K3 also enables you to carry your digital picture library around and view your treasured photos or album images on the colour screen.
The Samsung K3 also boasts premium sound performance, thanks to DNSe 3D sound. This feature creates a rich, authentic sound using Digital Natural Sound engine technology, a dedicated sound engine designed to reproduce music in 3D surround sound.
As well as storing your music and delivering audio perfection, the Samsung K3 also includes an FM radio. The battery life is 25 hours – ideal for long journeys or time away.
The Samsung YP-K5 will be available from January 2007 with a guide price of around £89 – 2GB, £119 – 4GB and TBC – 8GB from Argos, Currys, Currys Digital and other major retailers.
