Initially released in the ukraine with a popular response, the Samsung SGH-F490 features a 5 mega pixel camera with video capture & playback and built-in flash.

A secondary front mounted camera dedicated to video calling adds for a more personalised conversation, whilst the microSD card slot allows for expansion of the phone’s existing 103MB shared memory.

Although the Samsung F490 is initially a Vodafone exclusive handset, other UK networks will be able to connect the phone once this limited time period has ended. As with all network excluisve mobile phones, the Samsung F490 will only be able to be connected to the network that has signed the deal with the manufacturer.
