+ REVIEWS:
Infosync reviews the Samsung SGH-C417, they write:
“During our tests in New York City, call quality on the C417 was generally decent with good reception, although we did encounter some static here and there. The C417’s speakerphone is tinny and a bit fuzzy sounding (par for the course), and conference calling only allows for three-way calling (although that’s standard for any CDMA phone)….What’s positive: Decent call quality; world-phone capabilities; Bluetooth; extensive phonebook; lengthy talk-time. What’s negative:No voice dialing; short message display; bland internal and external screens with few personalization options.”
Phone Scoop reviews the Samsung SGH-C417, the users rated 3.25/5 and write:
“PROS: Great-looking screen, Superior construction, Unique and, dare I say, dazzling UI, Good battery life, Monochrome external screen. CONS:Sub-par reception, Lack of customizable options such as soft keys and 5-way buttons.”
CNET reviews the Samsung SGH-C417, they rated 7.0/10 and write:
“The SGH-C417 doesn’t try to hard to look pretty, but that’s OK. We liked the phone’s understated design, with its sleek lines. The SGH-C417 is relatively thin and compact, at 3.66 by 1.89 by 0.65 inches…The bottom line: The Samsung SGH-C417 is a good choice for low-end cell phone users looking for a functional handset with just a few extras.”
