Samsung F210 Reviews

Digital Trends reviews the Samsung F210 and writes;

“The camera is surprisingly supple. Press the camera button, push the first bar up and turn the phone on its side. Now using the vertical screen as a viewfinder and the horizontal touchscreen as a button, the Venus actually feels like a real camera. The pictures are solid, too, especially considering we’re getting the now-standard 2 Megapixel resolution and no flash. ”

LaptopMag reviews the Samsung F210 and writes;

“The Juke had among the best voice quality of the phones in this roundup; calls were crisp from both ends. We also didn’t experience any dropped calls. Just be sure to keep the charger handy if you’ll be playing music often; we had to charge the phone daily. ”

InfoSync reviews the Samsung F210 and writes;

Pros: Very slick design, in cool colors with matching headphones. Plenty of built-in storage, and fast media transfers. Navigation a nice surprise. Cons: Tiny screen, tiny keys. Lacks any 3G or Web browsing features. Media player a little basic, could be more robust and better looking. ”
Rating: ★★½☆☆

WirelessInfo reviews the Samsung F210 and writes;

“We do have to give the Juke respect for knowing what it is and being incredibly focused. We’re actually surprised the camera was even included, regardless of how bad it is. You can’t fault the phone for not having the best software when that’s clearly not its focus. This is not a smart phone: it’s an MP3 player that just happens to be a phone. ”

ITReviews reviews the Samsung F210 and writes;

“In music player mode the F210 is pretty good. The navigation pad on the front of the phone does for left, right, up and down movement and, thanks to an outer ring you can rotate under a fingernail, for moving through menus too. ”

CNET UK reviews the Samsung F210 and writes;

“The keypad may be small, but the keys are reasonably well spaced so texting isn’t too much of a problem once you get use to its long and narrow dimensions…The phone’s call quality was very good with speech sounding crisp and clean. It also does a good job of holding on to weaker mobile signals. ”

TrustedReviews reviews the Samsung F210 and writes;

“Just like the X830 this is an extremely small and light mobile. It weighs just 72g, and is 87.8mm tall, 31mm wide and 20.5mm thick. When opened it grows to about 150mm tall. Closed it looks like a portable music player. ”

Pocket-Lint reviews the Samsung F210 and writes;

The Good: 1GB of storage on board, MicroSD slot, small. The bad: Screen is too small, not many functions useable beyond phone and MP3 player. ”
Rating: ★★★½☆

Yourmobilephonereviews reviews the Samsung F210 and writes;

“The user can store all their contact details in the easy to access phone book which allows the user to store their contacts numbers easily…The user can use certain features on their phone whilst on board an aircraft or in other mobile phone restricted areas such as in a hospital when the phone is in flight mode. ”

I asked a simple question of staff where I bought the F210 from and then Samsung having been talking to numerous staff for an hour to resolve a problem.

When the phone is open (swivelled in open position) it works perfectly. When the phone is closed and I am unable to see if I have. The picture at the top of this page is of the phone in the closed positon and yet there is a pizel photograph being depicted on it - not the MP3 player mode.

Yesterday I contracted Samsung who informed me that the picture at the top of this page is NOT possible therefore you cannot miss if you have
MISSED ANY CALLS, or HAVE ANY MESSAGES RECEIVED. Their solution was:

“If you THINK you have missed a call or received a message open the phone up to have a look” Which I find incredible that a phone designer would not take this into consideration.

Does anyone have any knowledge of how we users of this phone could adapt it to a more user-friendly phone? I spoke to people in my office yesterday, on my return and after we all decided it was a nice looking phone it was limited in its phone informaion to the user. One person suggested I phone Samsun back asking if the was a Phyicic function or assessor I could purchase to help me when I need to “if I think if I have miss a call/text message”.

Oh, Samsung also told me that it was essentially an MP3 player and had a phone facility also. Good marketing - I was impressed - NOT!

I have a verizon juke in red and first of all the F-210 is not a juke the U-470 is the juke they look alike but there no where near it.

1- The U-470 has a VGA camera not 2mp
2- It does not take videos like the F-210
3-The U-470 has 2gb of built in memory not 1gb
4-My Juke doesn’t have a web browser
5-The juke is also a cdma not gsm
6- It does not have java anything on it
7- the juke doesn’t feature vcast or EVDO signal
8-The juke does not have a slot for a micro sd card
9- it comes with not games
10- it still features blue tooth
11-last but not least it definately doesn’t have an fm radio

i just figured everyone should know the 11 differences thanks
