The Philips DCP750 is a Portortable DVD Player with iPod docking features a 7″ LCD Swivel 16:9 screen, iPod docking: play movies and recharge your iPod device, SD card slot for movies and digital photos, and it supports a broad range of video-based media including DVD+-R and DVD+-RW formats, SVCD, VCD and MPEG4. “The DCP750’s DVD player is well-designed. The most important controls (play/pause, eject, menu, forward, back) are conveniently placed at the top-front of the open clamshell; lesser-used controls, such as the one for subtitles, are relegated to the clean, elegant remote control. (The remote fits neatly into the system’s iPod space when an iPod is not docked, a nice touch for travel and storage.)..Philips seems to have done just about everything right, including choosing an attractive price point. Although not cheap, at $150 the DCP750 definitely gives you your money’s worth.”

“As person who travels a lot, I’m always looking for something to pass the time in airports, trains, cars, etc. And I saw this for sale at Circuit City I had to go check it out. This is a nice little unit. It plays DVDs, Ipod video, inputs from a secure digital card, and plays dvix .avi files. WOW and for a price of $139.00 I picked one up. My previous DVD player was a Toshiba, and the sound was poor, this one has great sound, I can actually hear it without having headphones in. And the color is crisp, and clean. I like it! I can’t believe the deal for the price. Most other DVD players without having access to Ipod video, is around $200.”
