+ REVIEWS:

Pocket Lint reviews the Orange SPV M3100, they rated the phone 9/10 write:
“In practice and the SPV is not only very easy to use, but also comes with a number of nifty features. Examples include automatic rotation of the screen when you change from portrait to landscape to use the keyboard, and dedicated buttons for virtually everything from using the phone’s web browser (Internet Explorer) to making a video call or checking your connectivity status…The good: Connectivity, wireless, 3G, large screen, QWERTY keyboard, Windows Mobile 5. The bad: Stylus is a bit flimsy”

Biosmagazine reviews the Orange SPV M3100, they write:
“Technical niceties of the device compete with the best. Of particular note is the 400MHz Samsung 2442A processor, 2.8-inch QVGA (320×240 pixels) touchscreen display capable of rendering 65K colours and working in bother portrait and landscape screen modes (pulling out the keyboard automatically rotates the screen image), dual 2.3-Megapixel and CIF camera, 64MB RAM, 128MB flash ROM, and MicroSD Slot card slot…VERDICT: First-rate Windows Mobile 5.0 smartphone. PROS: 3G; EDGE; HSDPA; Wi-Fi; Bluetooth; QWERTY slide-out keyboard; dual camera. CONS: Expensive 3G data access rates; proprietary headphone jack.”

CNET reviews the Orange SPV M3100 and writes:
“The good: Attractive, Pleasing battery life, Multiple data input options, Push e-mail support, Full suite of connectivity options. The bad: Sluggish performance when multitaskingm Camera quality means card recognition feature is useless, Phone keypad is less efficient than a QWERTY keyboard, No 3G support. The bottom line: Attractive and well-rounded, the P525 is a highly proficient smartphone for those that aren’t intent on performing extensive data entry.”

Msmobilenews reviews the Orange SPV M3100 and writes:
“The Orange SPV M3100 is packed full of features, you’ll struggle to find another phone on the market that offers so much. You would therefore expect the M3100 to be a large device physically; this is not the case however. Granted, it is heavier and larger than your average mobile telephone but when compared to the SPV M5000, a device with a similar list of specifications, you’ll really appreciate the drastic reduction in size. This device is usable as a day to day mobile phone whilst also performing well as a PDA. The requirements of a mobile device are specific to each user, one thing is for certain though, you’ll not find yourself wanting more should you choose the SPV M3100. It has pushed its way to the front of the queue in terms of being my everyday phone and it will take something special to dislodge it, well until the next new Windows Mobile device is released anyway! “

TracyandMatt.com reviews the Orange SPV M3100 and writes:
“Overall I really like the Orange SPV M3100. I like the black and grey case design. The processor seems quite fast and easily capable of dealing with the few applications that I throw at it. The screen is decent and bright although there is a slight yellow cast to it. I haven’t had any problems with touchscreen alignment that some other people have reported. I find that I use the scroll wheel an awful lot too! Final Verdict: Orange SPV M3100 is definitely a phone I’ll be hanging on to for a while!”
