Nokia 5200 Reviews

Softpedia reviews the Nokia 5200 and writes:

“Sound is good, reception of different radios is rather mediocre, and camera is bad. In fact,it’s almost useless, because you can only see a few things on its 128 x 160 pixels CSTN display. Basically, the small display makes the VGA camera useless. Like I said, bear in mind that the handset has a specific target and doesn’t need any high-end features. Of course, the handset will be cheaper. ”

Tech.co.uk reviews the Nokia 5200 and writes:

For: Compact slider design, MP3 player with card memory, Stereo FM radio onboard. Against: VGA camera, Small onboard memory, Small display. Verdict: A decent entry-level music phone, but it could do with a bit more substance to go with the style ”

About.com reviews the Nokia 5200 and writes:

“The Nokia 5200 could be a fairly good low-price cell phone, especially given its nice sound and call quality. Most “cons” listed here are bearable but the camera bug is a real turn-off. Unless you absolutely don’t need the camera feature, wait until Nokia releases a software fix or updates the next units.”

Nokia-Review reviews the Nokia 5200 and writes:

“The Nokia 5200 could be considered as an alternative to 5300 XpressMusic, depending upon the budget that you have for such a phone. It may be said that Nokia 5200 is an excellent mid-range phone, with some weaknesses…However, Nokia 5200 is a user-friendly handset in a compact design with good music capabilities.

CNET UK reviews the Nokia 5200 and writes:

“As this is a music playing handset, there’s a dedicated music button on the left hand edge that can be used to quickly start and stop playback. The music applet is not quite on a par with Sony Ericsson’s Walkman handsets, but it’s still easy to use. The sound quality was good, too, although the supplied headphones are rather a disappointment. ”

About.com reviews the Nokia 5200 and writes:

“Pros: Software performance and simplicity are just average. I’ve seen better. Menu behavior, for instance, is sometimes uselessly slow. The Nokia 5200 comes with Windows Live Messenger and Yahoo Instant Messenger. However, I was unable to use those features. Battery life seemed to match advertised performance. ”
