Nanostray 2 Reviews

CNET reviews the Nanostray 2 and writes;

“The best competitive outlet this game offers is the Arcade mode, which you unlock by beating Adventure mode and allows you to play through any level repeatedly. Being able to compare your high score with your friend or with the world via the Wi-Fi score upload feature feels like the best competitive fit in a game that pits you alone against hordes of opponents. ”

GameDaily reviews the Nanostray 2 and writes;

“If you can’t stand shooter games, Nanostray 2 isn’t going to change your mind. However, if you can’t let a day go by without dodging a few bullets and unleashing a super-bomb, this game is a delectable treat. Shin’en outdid itself in every department, including controls, presentation and the various modes. ”

IGN reviews the Nanostray 2 and writes;

“Right from the title screen, Nanostray 2’s visuals are impressive. Levels wrap around planets, enemies fly in from the background, and the camera sometimes gives the player a cinematic perspective of the action. Each stage alternates horizontal and vertical scrolling, so you get a nice variety of action. ”

UGO reviews the Nanostray 2 and writes;

“Nanostray 2 is a solid game, no question. It would be nice if there were more of it, but what’s there is both fun and challenging. If you’re new to shmups, this definitely isn’t the best place to get started. But salty, old gamers with fond memories of R-Type, Gradius and Life Force will get great pleasure out of Nanostray 2’s multiple modes, even if they can see everything there is to see in the space of a day. ”

Geek reviews the Nanostray 2 and writes;

“The game controls rather easily in the default scheme, which mainly relies on you using the d-Pad to steer, and a couple of the face buttons to fire. If you’d rather make life difficult on yourself, then you can try to use the stylus controls. Many people complained that those controls felt tacked on in the first Nanostray; and if you experiment with that control scheme, then you’ll see why.”

Games Radar reviews the Nanostray 2 and writes;

“The stages are long, they’re packed with enemies, and a single hit will cost you a ship. Even on the easiest setting, this game is tough in that old school way, where you need to develop twitch reflexes and memorize the layouts so that you make the five ships and three continues you’re given last. This game is probably tougher than you’re accustomed to. Whether that’s good or bad is up to you.”
