MV - Mobeus 13 is a simple and slim laptop with weight of only 2.1kg and amazing 13.3in Crystal Bright display as well as integrated wireless LAN. The MV - Mobeus 13 is powered by Intel Centrino Core Duo for Dual Core application featuring 60GB 5400rpm Serial ATA, 512MB DDR II 533MHz, 8x DVD Writer Dual Layer, Intel 802.11 A/B/G 54Mbit WiFi Internal and Stealth Mode. Mobeus 13 is available at a price of £594.89 (excl. VAT).

“The best part of the Mobeus 13, however, is the screen. The 13-inch widescreen display comes with a Crystal Bright coating which lives up to its name. It’s among the brightest screens you’ll find on a notebook and its 1,280 by 768 pixel resolution is just about right. But unlike the rest of the laptop, which looks and feels well built, the lid feels a bit flexible and you need to take care when travelling around with it.”
Pcw reviews the Mobeus 13, they rated the laptop 4/5 and write:
“Typing on this notebook is comfortable; however, the right side of the hand rest heats up significantly while in use. Battery life was one of the best, scoring almost three hours in general Windows use…Pros: Good battery life; small and lightweight; good screen. Cons: Poor graphics. Overall: A great effort by MV. Small and compact while being relatively powerful, with good battery life.”

“Given its size, it’s surprising that MV didn’t trade off power in return for longer battery life. As it stands, we saw 3hrs 21mins under light use, which is around the group average. Ultimately, MV’s Mobeus 13 is a compact powerhouse, with plenty of features for the price. It isn’t stylish, but it’s good value, especially if you need a more portable notebook than the Labs Winner.”
