Motorola Z9 Reviews

Mobileburn reviews the Motorola Z9 and writes;

” The main display is a completely beautiful 2.4″ QVGA display that is very bright and easy to read, even in sunlight, surprisingly…The camera application offers plenty of options, such as several lighting presets, color options, and zoom. The self-timer option and flat edge of the handset makes time photos a breeze, and creating an MMS is one click away. Video mode is just as simple to use, and is activated through the menu. ”

Infosync reviews the Motorola Z9 and writes;

” Calls sounded very good, don’t get us wrong. Indoors and out, even on the busy New York streets, we were able to make our calls. But we didn’t get the feeling that noise was being handled any more deftly than on another high quality calling phone. ”

CNET reviews the Motorola Z9 and writes;

The good: The Motorola Z9 has a sharp design, a generous feature set, and satisfying music and video quality. But most of all, its call quality is outstanding. The bad: The Z9’s 3G performance was variable. Also, its photo quality wasn’t as sharp as it could be. ”

LaptopMag reviews the Motorola Z9 and writes;

“The Moto Z9 boasts CrystalTalk, which promises to reduce background noise for clearer calls. Indeed, when we made calls from Times Square, our callers said we sounded clear. Although they could still hear background noise, they told us it wasn’t distracting. On our end, our friends also sounded loud and clear…You can expect between 3.5 and 4 hours of talk time, which is typical for an AT&T 3G phone. The Moto Z9’s endurance in our tests was quite good; after keeping the phone on for 24 hours, and using it intermittently, it still showed all three bars of battery life. ”

Wired reviews the Motorola Z9 and writes;

“The Z9 comes in the form of a metallic maroon slider. It’s solid and echoes the design language of current Motorola products with aluminum and glass construction…Battery life is actually quite hardy. I’ve had the phone for a day and have been using its Web browser and multimedia functions pretty much non-stop.Thus far I’ve depleted the battery halfway. Try doing that with an iPhone. ”

MobileTechReview reviews the Motorola Z9 and writes;

“The Moto Z9 is a hard phone to not like. It’s got great looks, a sturdy build with metal casing, it feels good in the hand and has a wealth of useful features. As the first GPS-enabled feature phone on AT&T, the Moto Z9 will be on your short list if navigation is important but you don’t want a smartphone. The haptic side controls, music playback controls that appear when a tune is playing are not only cool but useful and the keypad and controls are roomy enough for even the largest-handed guys. While the RAZR-esque flat keypad isn’t as easy to use a a traditional button keypad, we didn’t have much trouble texting or sensing when we’d moved from one number to another thanks to the metal stipples. Music playback quality is very good, especially over A2DP stereo Bluetooth headsets and the camera is one of the better among US 2MP camera phones. Most important: call quality is excellent, reception is good and call volume is loud enough for a busy mall. Our only complaint? The microSD card is very hard to remove. ”

PC Mag reviews the Motorola Z9 and writes;

“The phone’s 2-megapixel camera is tuned for daylight shots. Under the bright desert sun, it did an excellent job of capturing the blue of the sky and not blowing out bright areas. But indoor, low-light shots had a severe blur problem that made the camera nearly unusable in low light. The video-recording mode captured 320-by-240-pixel videos at 11 frames per second—a lower frame rate than we’d like, but at least the videos didn’t have the irksome pulsing effect seen on some other 320-by-240 videophones, like the Samsung SCH-u900 FlipShot. ”
