MOTORAZR V3 Review Roundup & Sample Photos

motorazr-v3

The Moto Razr V3 is an ultra-thin quad-band/UMTS cellphone featuring MPEG4 video playback, Bluetooth® wireless technology, a digital camera and more. And with the precision-cut keypad, minimalist styling and metal finish, the V3 looks just as beautiful as it performs. The real difference is in the details. See who’s calling, in color, without opening your phone — the large internal display is complemented by an impressive external display.

+ REVIEWS:

PCMag have reviewed the MOTORAZR V3 where they rate the phone 7/10 and write;
“When presented with modern games, the 2004-era hardware platform creaks. Urban Asphalt GT played poorly, and the phone doesn’t support the latest 3D Java extensions. Opera Mini does run on the V3i, though it annoyingly asks for permission to use the Internet every time you click on a link, and its slow GPRS networking speeds make Web browsing rather painful. Bluetooth features include (mono) headsets, file transfer, iSync for Macs, and modem use, though, once again, using this as a modem is a flashback to the 20th century.”

CNET have reviewed the MOTORAZR V3 where they rate the phone 7/10 and write;
“We tested the quad-band GSM 850/900/1800/1900; GPRS) Razr V3i world phone in San Francisco using Cingular’s service. Call quality was acceptable but we noticed voices sounded a little fuzzy at times. Also, though we had no interference from other electronic devices, some static crept in on a few occasions. And as with previous Razrs, the volume was a bit low. On their end, callers said we sounded fine and they didn’t report significant problems…The bottom line: Though we’re still not won over by the iTunes/Motorola marriage and its call quality isn’t the best, the Motorola Razr V3i offers music lovers a decent mix of design and features. “

PocketLint have reviewed the MOTORAZR V3 where they rate the phone 6/10 and write;
“So, apart from the imaging improvements there’s very little to report, and this handset will probably be slipping into jeans pockets without the new owners realising that it’s actually different from the original RAZR. While the V3i is a decent update of the original V3, its improved imaging skills do not add up to a large enough difference to sit above it in the range. Now, if it had iTunes… “

CoolTechZone have reviewed the MOTORAZR V3 and write;
“The RAZR V3i is easily better than the previous RAZR. It has better software, camera, and the general overall feel is much more polished. The super sleek voice command/dialing is nothing short of sensational and should be made a huge selling point by Motorola. It truly works well. Despite all this, however, the phone is not exactly groundbreaking. I mean, apart from the voice dialing, all the other features are taken for granted on other phones. In fact, we have been taking them for granted for a long time. If you think of it from that point-of-view, the V3i has simply ensured that RAZR catches up with the market.”

MobileBurn have reviewed the MOTORAZR V3 and write;
“Our RAZR V3i was running pre-production firmware. You could expect the same or better performance from production versions.In short, the Motorola RAZR V3i is a great device. It offers everything that the original V3i offered, but is more refined and faster. On top of that, upgrades such as a decent 1.2 megapixel camera and speaker independent voice dialing and control make the V3i easy to love from a practical viewpoint as well as for the obvious aesthetic reasons.With virtually nothing but praise for the Motorola RAZR V3i, it is easy to understand why I give it a “Highly Recommended” rating. In short, if you liked the V3, you’ll love the V3i.”
