Trusted Reviews has a review of the Mio Digiwalker H610 rated it 8/10 and writes;
“It’s actually quite impressive that such a small device has full detailed maps for the UK and most of 23 other countries in Europe. It can do this thanks to the 2GB of integrated flash ROM and 64MB of RAM. By default the maps and software only take up just over 1GB, and when I hooked it up to my PC after installing the software it reported 918MB free for use…The MioMap 3 software then, is a mess to use, but it is powerful and speedy. The H610 makes uses of a SirfStar III chipset and performance was as expected, good, picking up a signal in a few minutes the first time, and quicker after that. There’s a connector for an external aerial at the back should you need it.”

PCmag has a review of the Mio Digiwalker H610 rated it 4/5 and writes;
“The MP3 player supports multiple playlists that you can easily create on the device. It also has a built-in equalizer with 11 built-in presets. The picture viewer lets you preview thumbnails and create a slide show with 1, 3, or 5 second delays. I liked that the video player supports a number of file formats, too, including MOV, AVI, MP4, and WMV…In my road tests, the H610 performed as expected and comparably with other TeleAtlas-based GPS products. Though the device’s speaker is small, it had enough volume to be heard while traveling at highway speeds.”

CNET has a review of the Mio Digiwalker H610 rated it 7/10 and writes;
The good: The Mio H610 features an ultraportable design that makes it a great navigation aid while on foot or on a bicycle. It comes preloaded with maps, travel tools, games, and a multimedia player. The bad: The smaller screen doesn’t make it ideal for in-car use, and the H610 doesn’t support text-to-speech functionality. The bottom line: Though not ideal for the car, the ultraportable Mio H610 is an accurate navigator and a decent multimedia player for use on foot. “

Clove Technology has a review of the Mio Digiwalker H610 and writes;
The screen is very bright which goes some way to making up for it’s actual size and the menu buttons are quite big…Navigation is as good as I have seen- directions are given in good time and after a little while spent learning the menu system you will soon get used to the way it works. Despite it’s size the receiver never lost a signal in four hours of driving and no problems came up even on small side roads. I went off track a couple of times and was politely redirected within a few seconds. The redirection was similar in speed to the TomTom devices.”
