+ REVIEWS (last updated: 08/03/07)

Laptopmag has a review of the Magellan RoadMate 6000Trated it 3.5/5 and writes;
“Buyers get three months of traffic data for free, but receiving the information requires plugging in an unwieldy wire FM-antenna and suction-cupping it to your window…We like that the unit pronounces street names and that it can play back music tracks or show photos. But the 6000T has no free internal memory, so you’ll need to supply your own SD Card to store media.”

GPSreview has a review of the Magellan RoadMate 6000T;
“I own a Roadmate 700 (with the latest firmware update which makes it perform like a 760, I believe). The navigation features of the 6000T are very similar to this unit which is making the transition to the 6000T fairly painless. Again, the documentation is brief in its description of the operation and/or function of some of the navigation features.”

Pocket-Lint has a review of the Magellan RoadMate 6000T;
The good: Bluetooth, traffic data, picture viewer with SD Card support. The bad: Build quality, graphics look naffy, maps very basic. We say While the Magellan 6000T ticks all the boxes the finish just isn’t there for us compared to other devices on the market.”

TechDigest has a review of the Magellan RoadMate 6000T;
“One of its better design aspects comes in the form of the intelligent address finding. This works by presenting you with a full alphabet, but then, as you spell out your intended destination, the options narrow down and it makes it a lot easier to jab at the right letter…The quality of Bluetooth calls was quite good as the sound quality was clear making it easy to hear the caller.”
