LG Voyager VX10000 Reviews

MobileMag reviews the LG Voyager VX10000 and writes;

“I feel that the concept and hardware of the LG Voyager are pretty good. I like having the tactile feedback on the external touchscreen display and the physical QWERTY keyboard on the inside adds a fair bit of versatility. The features are quite good for a consumer level phone and Verizon has itself a decent competitor for the iPhone and the Sidekick.”
Rating: ★★★½☆

PowerPage reviews the LG Voyager VX10000 and writes;

“The 3G speeds are impressive. However, after reading about how miserably slow EDGE is, I was expecting magic while browsing the web. I can’t determine exactly where the bottleneck is. Maybe the phone has a slow processor; maybe the 3G connection isn’t great in my area.”

Digital Trends reviews the LG Voyager VX10000 and writes;

Highs: Keyboard is excellent for IM, email, and texting; GPS and Mobile TV; easy navigation. Lows: Limited video support; cannot sync Outlook via USB; no WiFi; doesn’t come with a microSD card”
Rating: ★★★½☆

Wirelessinfo reviews the LG Voyager VX10000 and writes;

“The LG Voyager lasted 9 hours 40 minutes in our music playback test, which is a pretty good score. You can see below that we have seen better from phones like the iPhone and E90, but in this case the difference is not as huge as talk time. This means that you should be able to use the Voyager as a music player for several hours a day without fearing that the battery will conk out on you. ”

GadgetLab reviews the LG Voyager VX10000 and writes;

“Besides having 3G, integrated instant messaging (AIM, Windows Live Messenger, and Yahoo), the Voyager also sports stereo Bluetooth for music headphones, and assisted GPS via Verizon’s VZ Navigator…Call quality is excellent; the OS is responsive and simple to navigate around in. The estimated 4-hour battery life is impressive too; and the speakers deliver rather impressive sound…for a cell phone.”

CNET reviews the LG Voyager VX10000 and writes;

The good: The LG Voyager VX10000 has a cutting-edge design with a brilliant touch screen and a spacious keyboard. It offers a generous features set that includes EV-DO support, V Cast Mobile TV Bluetooth, a top-notch Web browser, and an integrated GPS application. And if that’s not enough, its call quality was excellent. ”

LaptopMag reviews the LG Voyager VX10000 and writes;

“We really enjoyed the 2-megapixel camera. The pictures were crisp, and colors weren’t too washed out, but we recommend using the camera in well-lit environments only. You can record 320 x 240-pixel resolution videos, which default to 30 seconds for MMS messages. Although the external display lets you view yourself while you’re taking a picture, like a mirror, you can’t use this display for the video camera. ”
Rating: ★★★½☆

Mobileburn reviews the LG Voyager VX10000 and writes;

Pros: Great form factor, good UI, awesome multimedia features. Cons: Poor email support, poor contacts searching, somewhat bulky.”

The phones ok, only cause its running on verizons fast network.
But other than that I still prefer the Nokia E90 communicator which the Voyager looks suspiciously like..just without the power the the nokia has.
