+ REVIEWS:
CNET reviews the LG R1, they rated the laptop 6.8/10 and write:
“The 14.1-inch transflective widescreen display is lovely for viewing letterbox-format videos. Capable of 1,280 x 768-pixel resolution, the LCD is powered by the midrange Nvidia GeForce Go 7400 graphics chipset complete with 256MB of video RAM…The good: Inexpensive for a Core 2 Duo system; discrete graphics card; good connectivity feature set. The bad: ExpressCard/34 compatibility only; few dedicated buttons; below-average performance.”
Notebook-Review reviews the LG R1, they write:
“The R1 has a good keyboard. Keys have lots of travel, and do not feel cheap. The base does not flex. Like many notebooks, the R1’s keyboard has quite a few Alt-Function keys. The Onscreen Display Manager gives visual feedback about these functions as you enable/disable them. It is a pretty sharp-looking utility. In addition to volume, brightness and wireless the R1 also includes a feature that is common on LG notebooks: fan control.”
