LG KF600 Reviews

Mobileburn reviews the LG KF600 and writes;

“Call quality is reasonable, but the earpiece sounds slightly muffled during calls. Reception is not a problem, as with other LG phones with internal antennas. During calls a limited number of applications can be used, including the phone book, messaging, memo, and call recorder…the camera interface is attractive and intuitive, you can tap on the InteractPad to take pictures instead of using the less ergonomic shutter key that is located on the side. Focusing normally takes just under 2 seconds, and the shutter lag is another second, but saving pictures can take up to 5 seconds.”

Trusted Reviews previews the LG KF600 and writes;

“The KF600 has a flat number pad. Fortunately it is rather more usable than many. Partly this is because of the styling of the keys: the two-tone grid makes it easy to visually identify the key areas you want to hit. And partly it is because the keys press in nicely and if you are in a relatively noise-free space you can even hear a very quiet mechanical click as they do so. All in all, then, for a quirkily designed handset I found the KF600 remarkably easy to live with.”

CNET previews the LG KF600 and writes;

“While we weren’t convinced by the touchscreen navigation pad, we do think that the software interface looks good and is an innovative idea, offering you direct access to different functions depending on what you’re doing. A nice touch is the selection of Keith Haring- inspired, animated themes. The phone is brought to life in a different way to your average phone theme. It’s something we hope to see more of in the future.”

3G previews the LG KF600 and writes;

Pros: A fabulous looking slider phone that’s easier to use than most touch-screen phones. Cons: The phone lacks a few key features and the InteractPad takes up too much of the display. Verdict: We’ve wound up rather liking the KF600 despite its little quirks and flaws. It’s a good looking phone that’s easy to use for a touch display device, even though it achieves this by embracing a traditional user interface, which would still arguably be easy”

Infosync previews the LG KF600 and writes;

“We definitely prefer this version, mainly because LG has done much more with the contextual menus. They are more colorful, more varied and ultimately more useful, which is the point of this design and our main complaint with the VZW model…Pros: Better contextual menus than the LG Venus. Cons: Not coming the U.S., won’t replace the Venus any time soon. ”

Mobile88 previews the LG KF600 and writes;

“The LG KF600’s InteractPad™ and its virtual menu keys show the exact keys a user needs to complete the task at hand eliminating distractions. This is far more flexible than standard hardware keys and eliminates the need to memorize exactly which key performs what function. These virtual keys are also larger and better spaced than physical keys, improving accuracy. ”
