I own the VX8550 in Black, yet it has no flash. I never use the internet on it, so thats okay. I would like to mention though that its text recieving and sending is a little too slow. My friend has a different phone but is still on verizon, but when I send him a text it gets too him in 3 seconds flat. When he sends one to me it takes at most 2 minuets.This happens even when we are standing right next to each other.

I am very disappointed by this phne. I have the vx8550 and I thought yea a great phone! NO!!!!!! you cant download any games unless you pay for them, you can not get an independent web browser, you can access half the website out there like youtube unless you pay to use the vcast program at 25 dollars a month. I “upgraded” from a sanyo katana II and I could do anything I wanted with that except watch video. I bought my new vx8550 because I was told I could watch video with it. After the first day and I kept getting “malformed URL” every time I tried to watch a video I called verizon and then was told I would have to Pay yet more money to watch video, download games and I had no other choice of web browsers. for a phone that cost $450 I am very disgusted!

i just wanted to poimt out that my lg vx8550(new chocolate) is a piece of crap. when i turn it on and then open it it just restarts…every once in awhile i will get lucky and it will open without restarting..i highly do NOT recommend someone to buy this phone=[[///thanks.

I currently own the LG VX8550, the Black Choclate and I like it for all of its features except for the Multimedia handling. It is very slow loading preview images from the videos. While watching a video you cannot slide the phone closed unless you want the video to stop playback. Cannot Rename Music Files. and more, yet these are just the bad things. IF YOU ARE AFTER A PHONE LIKE THIS I WOULD DEFINATLY RECOMEND THE MOTOROLA Z6C, yes it is a world phone but they make another version… all the bad features I mentioned are all resolved in the Motorola Z6C.

I just wanted to say that my blue has no flash either as I was told by the sales clerk when purchased that it did like my previous LG I have owned I am VERY dis-appointed that I was lied to.
