Pocket Lint reviews the LG BL20 Chocolate and writes;
“…it’s actually a very nice piece of kit. It’s got a top LG mobile camera complete with 5-megapixel sensor, Schneider-Kreuznach glass, an LED flash and a decent set of WB and exposure settings to play with. It’s a bit of a shame that the ISO only goes up to ISO 400, that there’s no scene modes and that the zoom is a no-no at full resolution, but there is an excellent Text Read mode which makes it great for taking pictures of both typed and hand written diagrams and copy. … ”

” …These keys are all well spaced, although some were more responsive to our touch than others. Slide the screen up to expose the panel of number keys. these are arranged in four rows, with a metal band separating each row. The whole keypad is constructed from one piece of flexible plastic, meaning as you press each key, the surrounding keys move too… ”

“The LG BL20 New Chocolate offers smooth and problem-free performance when it comes to the most essential task of a phone – making calls. It offers good reception and in-call sound, with pleasing voice quality on both ends of a call. The New Chocolate has smart dial too.”
PhoneArena reviews the LG BL20 Chocolate and writes;
“The battery has a capacity of 900mAh and we had to charge it up on the fourth day after moderate daily usage, which is a satisfactory result. According to the manufacturer, the battery should be able to provide about 4 hrs of continuous talk time and up to 270 hours in standby. ”

“It’s perhaps unfair to compare the LG Chocolate Mini with its higher-end big brother, as it’s a much cheaper phone, but as a mini version of the New Chocolate, all it shares is the sleek looks. Nearly everything that made the New Chocolate such a good phone has been stripped out of the LG Chocolate Mini. Saying that, though, texting and calls are easier here, and the camera is good for a phone at this price… ”
