Lenovo S10-2 Reviews
TechRadar reviews the Lenovo S10-2 and writes;
“The chassis is built from a solid white plastic which is more ‘pearly’ than ‘matt’ in its finish. The lid is also covered in circular patterns that certainly won’t appeal to everyone, especially those with business on their mind. Nevertheless, it is relatively tough and provides adequate protection for the TFT screen panel inside.”

Netbook Review reviews the Lenovo S10-2 and writes;
“The glossy panel on the Lenovo S10-2 is average compared to other netbooks, with bright and vibrant colors, but somewhat limited viewing angles. The glossy screen really does an awesome job at making colors pop, and also helps reproduce deep blacks as well – handy for watching Sci-Fi flicks. The downside to this and any other glossy screen, though, is added reflection, making screen visibility poor when outdoors or under a bright light.”
HotHardware reviews the Lenovo S10-2 and writes;
“The S10-2 is a great option for those in the market for a new 10.1″ netbook today..If you have an original S10, there’s no need whatsoever to upgrade. If you’re looking for a new standard 10.1″ netbook, however, the S10-2 deserves a serious look. It has one of the nicest keyboards we’ve used, performance was great given the hardware within and the battery life was stupendous.”
LaptopMag reviews the Lenovo S10-2 and writes;
“With its 1.6-GHz Intel Atom N270 processor and 1GB of RAM, the IdeaPad S10-2 delivered a very strong score of 1,598 on PCMark05, a program that measures overall performance. This score was the second highest we’ve ever seen on a netbook, falling behind only the Dell Latitude 2100 and beating the netbook category average by more than 200 points.”

SlashGear reviews the Lenovo S10-2 and writes;
“One of the more welcome changes above and beyond the first-gen S10 is the larger keyboard, which Lenovo claim is 89-percent the size of a full ‘board. Touch-typists will miss that 11-percent, as despite reasonable tactile feel and key-feedback it’s a relatively cramped affair. Still, the S10-2 gets bonus points for a full-sized and correctly placed right-hand Shift and Delete buttons, points freshly squandered by the drearily unresponsive trackpad buttons.”
CNET.UK reviews the Lenovo S10-2 and writes;
“We like: Slimmer design, lighter chassis and lower price than the IdeaPad S10. We don’t like: Ugly, protruding battery pack; no ExpressCard slot”

So far so good by Allison Swan
Rating:

“…It’s nice and tiny and light. The battery helps position the computer so that it sits up off the work surface and can breathe. The Windows 7 thing seems to be great so far: a lot better than Windows Vista. I’m not sure if it says anywhere in the description, but it comes with Word installed, which makes my life as a student much easier….”

“Huge fan of Lenovo computers. I have one for work and they are very strong and reliable. I’m day 5 with this netbook as so far it’s doing exactly what I need it to do. I bought mine with Windows 7 starter and it’s not too bad. I am upgrading the memory from 1 GB to 2 GB as it’s a little too slow for my taste.”

“It is nice and light and easy to carry. The front cover is glossy and scratches easy so you may want a cover. The color is Mauve one review said it was pink but the only pink I see is inside by the keyboard and it is a small amount. I am dissapointed in the windows 7 because they have installeda starter verson that doesn’t let you do any customizing you have to upgrade in order to do this . Upgrade is another 79.99…”
