HP announcing 3 high-definition products based on the HD-DVD digital media format. The products should be available for sale before this holiday season 2006. The Products include HP Pavilion Media Center TV m7600n Series PC, HP High Definition DVD-ROM Drive, HP Media Vault mv2010/mv2020 and HP Pocket Media Drive.
HP Pavilion Media Center TV m7600n Series PC has the ability to watch movie with HD-DVD high-definition DVD player, Intel Viiv™ technology and an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, wireless home networking, and 7.1 surround sound. Other additional features include built-in TV tuner NPSC and personal video recorder.
HP Media Vault mv2010/mv2020 has capacity to expand up to 1.2 terabytes, store up to 500,000 photos, and 16,000 hours of music or 340 hours of video. HP High Definition DVD-ROM Drive can supports both HD DVDs as well as CDs and DVDs.
HP Pocket Media Drive is a 2.5-inch USB hard drive that has storage ability to record TV programs or presentations on the go and take digital photos of up to 120GB. It is also available in 80 GB.
