Well, I own (3 three) of GZ-HD7 and use them professionally. This cam produces footage that not only surpasses any HDV cam corder but compares to my two Sony EX1 $6500 each. You morons should learn technology and camera work before bashing great product. This camera got “Cam of the year 2007″ by META!!! So better sit down learning because your “reviews” only to shrink to show.

a few months ago I purchased the jvc everio gh7–i was hoping with all my heart all the negative things I had read were not true–it was Not long before my greatest fear came to pass–ALL the Negative plus some came to be–I have NEVER in my life regretted buying anything as much as I regret buying this camera—I wwould rather but film everyday than to have too formatt after just a few hours os shooting—anykind of distance shooting is with a prayer; blurry and out of focus—editing is a Major on taking—battery life is a jip–the controls dont alwaay function and they are tooo small—this camera cost much to much money for ther hassle it is—
