iPod iTunes 3.9.1 has been released offering new feature that is to update missing content/files only so it saves your time since there’s no more duplicates. Other features include 8 synchronization modes in 2 directions, transfer song dependent data like “My Rating”, “Last Played”, “Play Count”, album artwork, etc.

1. Superior iTunes integration including playlists and meta data.
2. 8 synchronization modes in 2 directions (from iPod to iTunes and from iTunes to iPod).
3. Simple one-click synchronization.
4. Option to copy songs manually if you don’t want to synchronize all. iPod.iTunes presents missing songs/videos directly in iTunes! You can inspect/listen to songs and videos before you choose to copy them.
5. Songs and playlists can be synchronized together or separately.
6. Supported formats: MP3, AAC/MP4, Protected AAC (iTunes Music Store), Audible audio books, Podcasts, Apple Lossless, Video.
7. Copies seamlessly to existing songs in the iTunes music folder (or any other folder).
8. Copied files are named as iTunes would do.
9. Creates a date&time-stamped playlist in iTunes with a reference to the copied songs.
10. Supports Windows-formatted iPods.

12. iPod.iTunes can run directly off the iPod, so it’s always there when you need it.
13. Registration is independent of the computer. Just connect your iPod to any Mac without the need to register the Mac.
