I have a classic iPod with 80gb and for some reason that get freezed with the RED X, i read the manual and keep on freezed, the worst of all is the data I have a lot of music that I can’t lost. Somebody can help me?

I have an Classic with 80Gb, I love it! The only Thing i dont like ist the low Volume here in Europe, until now i have searched in vain for a Volume Hack.

Iv got the 6th Gen 80gb classic, had it for bout 4 months, so far so good, before the firmware was upgraded to 1.1.2 it froze a couple of times tho but apart from that its great. I agree the coverflow is too sluggish to be usefull, on the contrary it wasts time using it as the images dont load up in time - but tbh your not missing much ! Great Buy, would definetly reccomend it, and as for video converting I use “Allok 3GP PSP MP4 Converter” just google it ;)

not being able to external video is bs
i most bought my 160 to cram videos on it and play on a tv or my portabble philips dvd/ipod player

if you are looking to convert videos from any format to mp4 format and to get them into itunes and fro there onto your ipod then isquint is your best option. it has an add to itunes feature and is free. all you need to do is to drag and drop a file into its window and si back and wait.

What I’ve done with my songs that doesn’t have any album artwork, I just looked up the album on google then right click on the album image on google and copy it. Then in Itunes, highlight the song title and go to more info then paste it on the fits tab on the right side.

I’ve been using Handbrake to convert the movie. If the movie has copyright, use DVD Shrink (google it). Once its been decripted using DVD Shrink, find the [Movie title} Video_TS and load it onto handbrake then select the ipod low rez or high rez on the right panel and run it.

i have an ipod classic and i just updated its firmware yesterday to the latest which is 1.1 and after that my ipod is acting up already. after i shut off my ipod i hear this noise. any fix for this? thanks.
