HTC Touch Cruise Reviews
Pocket Lint reviews the HTC Touch Cruise and writes;
“Overall, if you are looking for a smartphone with all the options, then this does pretty much everything. If you are happy with Windows Mobile, then the HTC Touch Cruise packs a lot of action into a small package…As a phone it works very well, with the normal music, video, FM radio, camera options, as well as a whole pile of connectivity. Throw in the GPS and Wi-Fi and you really have a little cracker here. ”

ShinyMedia reviews the HTC Touch Cruise and writes;
“The clickwheel in particular is genius; you feel much less like you’re using a touchscreen when you have a prominent and easy-to-use navigation feature like this. To me, that’s a positive addition as it makes you feel there’s a backup if the screen is damaged in some way. It’s responsive, but not oversensitive, and makes the new on-screen keypad even more of a doddle to use. ”

CNET Asia reviews the HTC Touch Cruise and writes;
“Battery life was exceptional with almost three days’ use on a single charge. These included normal phone use and about an hour of Wi-Fi surfing. The rated talktime for the Cruise is 4 hours on UMTS and 7 hours on GSM…You can almost call the Touch Cruise a TyTN II without the keypad. They have nearly similar features and that makes it great for those who want a smaller device and can do without a QWERTY keypad. It makes a great alternative to the HTC P3600i and O2 Xda Atom Life because of its size and similar set of features. ”

GSM Arena reviews the HTC Touch Cruise and writes;
” Performance in calls is therefore extremely important. Luckily, it is completely up to the task. Calling is trouble-free as you would expect. The Phone application is in charge of all call-related features. Custom-made for HTC, it has large virtual keys that allow easy one-hand operation. In the upper right corner there’s the Backspace key, below it is the Video call key and, finally, the Calls Log key. ”

TracyandMatt reviews the HTC Touch Cruise and writes;
” The GPS is very welcome but unfortunately as mentioned this particular model did not have the bundled software but Google maps worked fine. I was glad to see the inclusion of the now familiar Camera Album, allowing you at see the files very quickly, thanks to the faster processor again, and also enables zooming in and slide shows amongst rotation etc. Very easy to use and completely uncomplicated. ”

MS Mobilenews reviews the HTC Touch Cruise and writes;
” Being an HTC Touch device the Touch Cruise features TouchFLO (see our video here), its great to use and provides an impressive and easy to use way to perform 90% of the actions that you’ll want. It features a slight revision of the software over the original version to include a Rolodex type addition to the contacts list allowing the user to slide their finger down the right hand side of the screen to select a letter, upon release the list will be showing you names beginning with the letter you chose. ”

Stuff.TV reviews the HTC Touch Cruise and writes;
” This Windows-powered smartie comes loaded with built-in GPS, integrated Wi-Fi, 3.6Mbps-flavoured HSDPA and a 3megapixel snapper with autofocus. In fact, take the full QWERTY keyboard out of the equation and, pound for pound, the Touch Cruise is the feature equal of its heavyweight stablemate, the HTC TyTN II…Pros: Slick sat-nav performance. Improved touch UI. High-speed connectivity options. Cons: Erratic camera performance ”
