“Print quality is uniformly high on all copying and printing functions, with colours often so sharp and real they seem to leap off the page, and blacks are solid and consistent…Fans of the C6200 series of Photosmart All-in-Ones will cheer the addition of an easy to set up wireless capability, the new fax function and the impressive clarity and sharpness of the colour reproduction. However, there’s little improvement in speed and the scanner colours will need some tweaking.”

“The C7280’s scanner fared better, with fast previews and basic document scanning – 13secs for an A4 sheet at 150ppi. Photos took a little longer, but on the whole it kept pace with the MP610 pretty well. Copying, reliant as it is on the both the scanner and the print engine, again fell back to more underwhelming speeds.”

We tend to keep our computer equipment a long time, so even though we have a wireless router (mainly just for the laptop), the rest of our systems are hard wired. The freedom of a wireless printer really won my husband over. He was thrilled that he didn’t have to crawl under the desk or move equipment to connect any wires. I see a lot more wireless equipment in our future.”
