PrinterSpot reviews the HP Photosmart A716, they write:
“The HP Photosmart A716 is well designed, and would make an impressive tech hub for your desk if combined with a Mac Mini computer. Its footprint is very small, especially with the rear input and front output paper trays folded back into its body. At 9.9 x 5.0 x 4.6 inches, it’ll fit neatly onto a corner of a desk (even the rear input tray requires only about an inch to insert paper)…The A716 averaged 1:42 minutes per 4 x 6-inch print, which is faster than HP’s own Photosmart 385, but slower than the Epson PictureMate Deluxe, and much slower than the Canon DS810.
PCmag reviews the HP Photosmart A716, they rated the printer 4.5/5 and write:
“In my tests the A716 hit true photo quality on every photo, from snowscapes to landscapes to close-ups of faces. I saw a slight loss of detail in light areas on one photo, but the quality was at least as good as you’ll get from a local drugstore. Just as important, the photos are essentially waterproof…Pros: True photo quality at up to 5 by 7 inches and 4- by 12-inch panoramas, Internal hard drive holds 4GB worth of photos. Cons: Performance is on the slow side for photo printers.”
