+ REVIEWS:
PCworld reviews the HP Pavilion a1510n, they rated the computer 86/100 and write:
“HP has left the door open to faster graphics by providing an open X16 PCI Express slot on the motherboard. Adding a decent graphics card could be your ticket to a meaningful performance boost. Beneath the easy-off cover, a relatively uncluttered interior presents no obstacles to the open RAM and PCI slots, so you could easily add a TV tuner, which this bare-bones Media Center PC lacks. A single-screw clamping bracket secures all of the expansion cards, but you may have to wrestle with a wad of unkempt wires and cables to reach the open drive bays…Pros: Well-labeled ports allow for easy setup. Cons: Subpar graphics performance.”
CNET reviews the HP Pavilion a1510n, they rated the computer 6.2/10 and write:
“The good: Decent extras for a budget system, including a LightScribe DVD burner and a media card reader; 64-bit processor and 1GB memory deliver respectable performance for the price; roomy hard drive. The bad: Better systems with dual-core CPUs are available at the same price; cheap accessories include a roller-ball mouse. The bottom line: The HP Pavilion a1510n is a perfectly serviceable PC at a reasonable price, but you can get more for your money from other vendors if you’re willing to forgo the brand name.”
