“The device itself is pretty slim and compact, with almost the entirety of the front taken up with the bright and colourful 4.3-inch screen. Inside the box you’ll find a car kit that includes an integrated TMC module for traffic reports, leather-effect carry case and compact windscreen mount. ”

Pocket-Lint reviews the Garmin Nuvi 710 and writes;

“The mapping system is very easy to use, with information presented in a clear fashion and we had no problems following the instructions to our test destinations. The software includes speed camera locations, the usual array of points of interest.We especially like the simple opening screen that gives you just two options: View map or Where to? ”

PocketGpsWorld reviews the Garmin Nuvi 710 and writes;

“The routing engine is very good – the routes chosen seem sensible and are calculated within a reasonable time. Poor design pokes its ugly head back in though when creating routes with multiple waypoints. The actual method of inputting extra waypoints into a route is very simple – either click to add a new start or end point or click the green ‘+’ or red ‘-‘ to add or remove a waypoint. ”

PCW reviews the Garmin Nuvi 710 and writes;

Pros: Impressive range of features; very easy to use; good performance on the road. Cons: Expensive considering the lack of European maps; lacks some advanced features. Overall: A solid navigator with some well-integrated features, but it lacks European maps and should therefore be cheaper ”
