The receiver rate for the garmin colorado is and update speed of 1 second/ continuous-- It takes about 1 second for it to aquire sattalite signal outdoors and 9 seconds indoors. I get about 15 feet accuracy indoors and about 5-13 feet accuracy out doors. In the city I get about 15 feet accuracy

Gamin says the Colorado has their own receiver in the unit. How does it rate compared to the 60csx(sirf3), aside from the wheel issue?
Thanks.

DON'T GIVE UP YOUR GARMIN 60CSX!!!

I ran out and bought one of these new Colorado 400t's and now I am so sorry. I had to replace it 3 days after I received it because the wheel on the front stopped working and I had to use both hands to turn the dial. The details at street level don't exist. If you want to see the street names on the map, you have to move the cursor over that street. So it is worthless for driving in town. If the batteries go dead, you all of your trip history is gone. I have spoken to Garmin several times about software updates, but none so far. So if your thinking about trading your 60CSX in for the 400 series, DON'T DO IT.
