flOw (PlayStation 3) is a game published by SCEA, designed for those who love simple games and artistic designs or aesthetics. Using Sixaxis controller you can then control these creatures (looks like microscopic beings) around a fluidic environment to steer them and eat other creatures, which is around the same shapes as you. The goal of the game is to become evolve to a creature with longer capacity of life and more bigger shapes, which makes it an interesting game!

GameSpot has a review of the flOw (PlayStation 3) ;
“The game makes great use of color, giving each creature’s environment a palette that feels unique, even if you are just swimming through liquid over and over again. The collections of abstract shapes that make up the creature designs give the game the vibe of an art-school project, but not in an annoying or pretentious way. They’re pleasing to look at, and there’s something beautiful about the way they grow and mutate as the game goes on.”
IGN has a review of the flOw (PlayStation 3) rated it 7.6/10 and writes;
“flOw’s controls are extremely straightforward in setup - the Sixaxis’ tilt controls are used for movement while any one of the buttons acts as an action button. Movement is controlled in more of a steering fashion rather than “pushing” your character, and the direction you input is based on the angle of the Sixaxis, not how you turn it. This sounds confusing, and there is a bit of a learning curve involved in getting used to the controls, but after a bit with the game movement becomes second-nature…flOw is an extremely interesting game for multiple reasons. The only goal is to evolve and see what’s next, and its presentation couldn’t be any better.”
Ugo has a review of the flOw (PlayStation 3) and writes;
“Visually flOw is rather stunning. Running in full HD, the game mixes colorful creatures with dreamy water-based hues and an ambient score for an extremely pleasurable experience. Even the use of the SIXAXIS works in the game’s favor, as you can very easily play this game with just one hand, leaving the other free to sip a mai tai. In fact, it’s actually the best use of the motion-control system. “
1up has a preview of the flOw (PlayStation 3) and writes;
“But, flOw is also about allowing the player to determine their experience. Four people can play peacefully, or they can play frenetically — it’s really up to them. Multiplayer lets people share the game interactively with their friends, parents, or children. flOw is fun to watch, but it felt like, why not let someone have the ability to just jump into it with their friend? And if you want to stop, then you just put the controller down and your friend can keep on playing.”
