“The StepNote XT5000T is a another great sample from Everex. Our biggest negative is lack of battery life, but we do understand the reasons behind our results. However, the postives of the StepNote XT5000T are able to outshine the battery life issue. The almost “too good to be true” price tag and the incredible screen quality puts this notebook on the same field of $1000 systems. Our contact at Everex has let us know that they are working to replace the keyboard design and update the battery. If so, these changes will eliminate any negative concerns we had about the StepNote XT5000T.”
