“Lettering on a Microsoft Word document and in a multisize font screen looked sharp and easy to read, even at small point sizes. Colors in photographs of a fruit tart and of people looked bright and realistic, with nicely toned hues and good detail…Overall the monitor’s design is unsophisticated but comfortable. Adjusting the display’s height takes a little effort, as the stand is rather rigid. The S1921 pivots with ease, and it also tilts and swivels, though only after you push it. Its on-screen controls are basic, with few options for adjusting brightness and color.”

The FlexScan S1931 is ideal for viewing moving images with its fast 8 ms midtone (gray-to-gray) response time and maximum brightness of 280 cd/m2.
Optional Audio Capability *
The monitor can be outfitted with internal speakers if desired. The speakers are tucked away at the back of the monitor and out of view so there are no obstructions around the bezels. Monitors without speakers have the same appearance.

adjustable stand provides 100 mm of vertical adjustment, 70° swivel and 30° tilt, and portrait mode display. The ArcSwing 2 stand provides 104 mm height adjustment, 60° tilt and 344° swivel. The EzUp stand is the most flexible of the three with 170 mm height adjustment, 25° tilt, 344° swivel, and portrait mode display.

Slim and Convenient
The bezels on this stylish monitor are extremely thin: a mere 15 mm top and bottom and 13 mm on the sides. This not only saves space on crowded desktops, it provides a near-seamless view in multi-panel configurations.
1000:1 Contrast Ratio
This outstanding contrast performance makes images on dark backgrounds appear more vivid and ensures that colors retain their richness even in brightly lit rooms.
Fine Contrast
Three specialized image adjustment modes for office applications (Text mode), web applications (sRGB mode), and individual user settings (Custom mode) are available in the OSD menu.
Digital and Analog Input Terminals
DVI-D and D-Sub mini 15-pin input terminals allow the monitors to accept both digital and analog inputs. If both types are connected, you can switch between them via a front panel button.
10-Bit Gamma Correction
This technology ensures smooth, accurate color tones by converting the 8-bit PC data to 10-bit, assigning the ideal gamma values then returning the data to 8-bit format for display.
Brightness Stabilization
Two functions ensures stable brightness which is necessary for the proper display of color. The first is drift correction circuit that quickly stabilizes the brightness level after startup or coming out of power saving mode. The second is an ambient brightness sensor that detects changes in the ambient brightness and signals the backlight to adjust the screen brightness accordingly so it is never too dark or too bright.

The product name, serial number, and total usage time can all be confirmed in the on-screen display menu.
Free Mount Capability
Panel can be removed from its stand and can be mounted on VESA-compliant arms or stands.
