+ REVIEWS (last updated: 19/02/07)

PC World has a review of the Dell UltraSharp 1907FP rated it 80/100 and writes;
“The 1907FP has a simple but clean design, with a black bezel and a silver pronged stand. It can tilt, swivel, and pivot with ease. Height adjustment is fairly smooth, though the display seemed a little sticky at first. An opening at the back of the stand provides nice cable management…With its good representation of text and some nice design touches, the UltraSharp 1907FP should fit well in a home or office setting.”

CNET has a review of the Dell UltraSharp 1907FP rated it 7.5/10 and writes;
“We were impressed with the Dell UltraSharp1907FP’s performance at its native resolution of 1,280×1,024. On CNET Labs DisplayMate-based tests, text looked noticeably sharp and nicely contrasted, and it was easy to read…The good: High-end design and ergonomics; low price; better-than-average image quality; high degree of connectivity. The bad: Lightweight base is a bit wobbly; onscreen menu lacks exit option; no dedicated brightness buttons; contrast adjustment not available for DVI-D signal.”

Techgage has a review of the Dell UltraSharp 1907FP and writes;
“One nice feature about this monitor is the auto adjust options. What this does is it adjusts the screen to its optimal settings. No more adjusting the width and height of your display as this does all the work for you…The picture quality of the 1907 is exceptional to say the least. The picture is crisp and detailed and when to compared to my CRT monitor, the picture is just as crisp as well as brighter. One nice thing with a LCD monitor is that it does not flicker like a CRT does. This, over extended periods of use, is easier on the eyes and I for one love it…Pros: Large, Bright, Adjustable Height, Small foot print, 8ms response time, Affordable ($249.99 US at Dell.com). Cons: Menu controls could be a bit more robust.”

Liewcf has a user review of the Dell UltraSharp 1907FP and writes;
“I love the black color. It has only four small buttons at the lower right corner. The 17″ LCD monitor is very heavy and BIG! Suddenly, my 12″ Apple iBook became so small…There are two USB ports on the left of the monitor and another two are at the back…Thanks to the adjustable height stand, it is easy to adjust the monitor’s height. The monitor is able to turn 90 degrees until it reaches the vertical mode, which is good for viewing long documents or web pages.”
