Dell Latitude D531 Reviews
ITreviews reviews the Dell Latitude D531 and writes;
“Moreover, specify a Dell TrueLife display (at a remarkably affordable £13 + VAT) and the resolution rises to an impressive 1,440 x 990 pixels. Either way the end result is a large, bright display plenty big enough for presentations, with a wide viewing angle and sufficient adjustment to deal with a range of lighting conditions.”

LaptopMag reviews the Dell Latitude D531 and writes;
“Runtime from the nine-cell battery was excellent for a 15-inch laptop, lasting nearly 6.5 hours. Wireless throughput (more than 22 Mbps at both 15 feet and 50 feet from our AP) was above average, though on our tests we did have trouble keeping a solid connection, especially at greater distances…PROS:Strong magnesium-alloy chassis, Good battery life, Excellent screen, Compatible with all D-Series docks and other devices. CONS: Merely adequate performance, No fingerprint reader or active hard drive protection, No integrated mobile broadband option.”

TrustedReviews reviews the Dell Latitude D531 and writes;
“Likewise the display, although by no means wonderful, is perfectly suited to its usage. It’s bright enough to be used in normal office environments, and doesn’t feature a reflective glossy finish which could prove distracting…Dell’s Latitude D531 is a solidly made and well targeted machine, however it’s let down by the sluggishness of AMD’s mobile platform and, as a consequence, it would be well worth scouting the market thoroughly before settling on this system.”

NotebookReview reviews the Dell Latitude D531 and writes;
“Generally speaking, the keyboard is comfortable for typing. There is some minor flex on the far right side where the enter key is, but this won’t hinder typing… Pros: Appealing design for a business notebook, Quiet fans, Generally solid build quality, Exceptional battery life. Cons: Grainy screen, Haywire touchpad at times, Loud hard drive.”
