“The keyboard on our review unit has full-sized keys with acceptable key spacing and an excellent depth to the key throw. Each key has a textured black finish and a relatively flat surface…The 6-cell 48WHr battery does a pretty good job overall. With the screen brightness set to 70%, wireless active, and the Windows 7 power profile set to “Balanced” the Inspiron 14 stayed on for 3 hours and 34 minutes. ”

“..With Core i5 and ATI graphic, this mid-end laptop does well for graphic and gaming needs. I tested this machine with The Sim 3 and Modern Warfare 2. Both games can be played with no problems with good graphic details but it starts to overheat a little after 1 hour of playing. This is rather normal for laptop running heavy graphic apps. It also run smooth when multiple apps are run and used at the same time.. ”

“The good stuff…I love the keyboard. It may feel a little cramped for those with bigger hands, but it feels solid; good quality. Thats important to me on a laptop since it’s the part receiving the most interaction from the user. The mouse pad is great too. I love the soft, yet solid feel of the buttons. The size and weight are fantastic–super portable. The processor is quick in my opinion, although I don’t play games or use graphics intense programs..”
