IT Reviews has a review of the Dell – 2007WFP and writes;
“The screen itself is easily adjustable and we had little trouble fixing it in a comfortable viewing position. We warmed to the healthy range of connectivity options that include composite, D-Sub, DVI and S-video inputs. Also, there’s the option to attach a not-included speaker bar (which Dell, naturally, will happily sell you), while two USB 2.0 ports are built in too, should you want to use the screen as a hub. Hardly innovative, but certainly thoughtful.”
CNET has a review of the Dell – 2007WFP rated it 7.8 and writes;
“The good: Excellent image quality; includes composite and S-Video inputs; HDTV-compatible wide screen; excellent ergonomics; attractive price. The bad: Onscreen menu is difficult to navigate; base is slightly unstable while adjusting. The bottom line: The Dell UltraSharp 2007WFP, a 20-inch wide-screen LCD, serves up a winning combination of features, image quality, and adjustability–all for a very reasonable price.”
PCmag has a review of the Dell – 2007WFP rated it 4.5/5 and writes;
“When actual content was playing, the display revealed some muddiness in black-level details, but color rendition was quite good. Moreover, playing 3D games or fast-action sequences from DVD movies caused no ghosting or streaking. Similarly, I saw no color banding in high-dynamic-range scenes. Color banding is often a sign of limited color reproduction, and the absence of this type of artifact was welcome…Overall, this is an excellent display that takes up relatively little desk space, but offers 34 percent more pixel real estate than typical 19-inch, 4:3-aspect-ratio monitors.”
Windows A to Z has a review of the Dell – 2007WFP and writes;
“Now for the most important part of the LCD, the image quality. In tests at the LCD’s native resolution (1680×1050), image quality was excellent, quite possibly the best that we’ve seen from a 20-inch LCD. As with past models, grayscale performance was outstanding and crisp. The display is very vibrant and bright with all colors and hues. The viewing angles for the 2007WFP were also perfect with very little color/brightness change when tilting the display away and up close. Ghosting was very minimal while watching a DVD or playing a computer game despite the display’s slow response time of 16ms.”
PRAD has a review of the Dell – 2007WFP and writes;
“Basically, the quality of the Dell 2007WFP’s interpolation is very good. Overall, the loss in detail and focus caused by interpolation turns out to be marginal. The picture is displayed slightly stretched…In both digital and analog mode, the Dell 2007WFP can display the resolution of 1680 x 1050 at 60 Hz only. Using lower resolutions, the monitor can be run at 60 or 75 Hz respectively. Our tests revealed that the internal panel update frequency accepts and adapts the refresh rate. This fact deserves special remark, given that there are many LCD monitors on the market supporting 75 Hz yet they have their panel update frequency fixed to 60 Hz.”
