InfoSync reviews the Cowon iAudio D2 DMB (DAB) and writes;

“The Cowon D2 is an all-around solid device. Music sounds great, video looks clean, it plays a variety of formats and does pretty much everything expected of a PMP. It suffers greatly from a poorly-designed interface, but almost makes up for it with an extremely well-made and responsive touch-screen.”

TrustedReviews reviews the Cowon iAudio D2 DMB (DAB) and writes;

“Whatever way you look at it, the D2 DMB is an extremely capable MP3 player. The touch-screen is good, the video playback stunning and the battery life brilliant. It has expandable memory, and the sheer range of settings and capabilities is second to none. Even without the DAB capability this is the best all round mini PMP I’ve come across. ”

iAudiophile reviews the Cowon iAudio D2 DMB (DAB) and writes;

“I can only really conclude that the Cowon D2 is an excellent Digital Audio Player with a ton of extremely useful features. The battery life literally kicks ass, the sound quality is excellent, and the additional features are more than just playful additions.”

CNET.UK reviews the Cowon iAudio D2 DMB (DAB) and writes;

“sound quality was superb. Highs and lows were equally balanced, with excellent definition and explosive power… This upgraded version of the iAudio D2 is a fantastic player with the most sophisticated feature set we’ve ever seen in an MP3 player, and amazing sound quality to boot. Beginners to portable tech may struggle with the complex menu system though ”

ITReviews reviews the Cowon iAudio D2 and writes;

“This is a great little media player, which can provide hours of entertainment from both audio and video and is particularly easy to use, thanks to its touch-screen. Given its feature set, it’s also very reasonably priced. All we could wish for now is a D2 with a 60GB hard drive built in.”

AnythingButIpod reviews the Cowon iAudio D2 and writes;

“However, if you want a simple, easy to operate audio player, then the D2 is probably not the right one for you. Sure, it’s an audio aficionado’s dream - sound quality is excellent and the strong amp drives demanding headphones with ease - but a touch screen interface doesn’t quite cut it for operating the player easily on the go. I somehow learned to live with these shortcomings, but I still find myself having to take the player out of my pocket and look at the screen for simple things I could do blindly on other players.”

CNET.UK reviews the Cowon iAudio D2 and writes;

“As we’ve come to expect from Cowon players, the D2 sounds great when paired with a decent pair of headphones, such as the Shure E4c. You’ll definitely want to replace the set that comes with the player — they sound pretty awful… This unit has a nice, high-quality feel to it and offers a beautiful touchscreen as well as loads of features, including DRM support. ”

CNET Asia reviews the Cowon iAudio D2 and writes;

The good: Good touchscreen implementation; long battery life; fast transfer speed; expansion card slot; supports up to 4GB SD card. The bad: Scratchy radio reception on certain stations; slight lag during picture viewing. The bottom line: The D2 is a great portable video player for those looking for a PDA-like interface. It’s a brilliant performer and should satisfy most users..”

T3 reviews the Cowon iAudio D2 and writes;

“Battery life is a marathon 52 hours with music or up to ten hours of decent-quality video, viewed on the 2.5-inch screen. The only minor problem is that, as it’s a touchscreen, it can get a tad smudgy… So, a star performer with diva-ish sound quality, marathon battery life and a few added bonuses too. Just be careful not to sully that lovely screen too much with your lard-smeared digits.”

StuffTV reviews the Cowon iAudio D2 and writes;

“All if forgiven, though, when you see the quality of the screen. Like the U10, it’s a QVGA number, but is capable of displaying 16 million colours and playing 30 fps video. In short, it’s really quite special…The D2 may lack the charm and originality of the iRiver U10, but its treasure chest of options make it a much more versatile mini video player. Once it sorts out its PlaysForSure compatibility and gets its 8GB version in a few months, it’ll be odds-on for five Stuff stars.”
