Soldier Blade (Wii)

GameSpot have reviewed the Soldier Blade (Wii), where they rate the game 7.2 and write;

A recording of someone playing through the first mission of Soldier Blade on the Wii.

“While the visuals and audio are outdated by today’s standards, they’re sharp by 1992’s standards. Enemy ships come in all sizes, and the scrolling backdrops vary between land- and space-based locations. There’s rarely a moment when the screen isn’t teeming with lasers and missiles. While there isn’t a whole lot of variety to the accompanying sound effects, they’re appropriately high-tech…For 600 Wii points ($6), you can’t go wrong with Soldier Blade. The main game is a blast and it will take quite some time to finish.”

Happy Feet for Game Boy Advance - Review @ CNET

CNET has published a review of the Happy Feet for Game Boy Advance where they rate the game 6.1/10 and write;

happy-feet-games

“Even though the dance segments look and sound nice, the graphics and audio in the other side-scrolling areas merely get the job done. The backgrounds are plain and employ dreary shades of white, blue, and black that, while appropriate to the Antarctic setting, don’t make for much eye candy. There are some nice haze and bubble effects in the underwater areas, at least. Mumble and the other penguins are cute and look similar to their movie counterparts, but they’re also tiny and don’t do much except waddle and hop. It’s also a shame that the music and sound effects in these areas are the generic sort of video game stuff we’ve heard countless times before, as opposed to the songs in the dance segments, which were taken from the movie itself.”
