PlayStation Portable GPS Receiver is Now Available at Play-asia.com. The device is measuring in at 45mm x 41mm x 17mm (Width x Height x Depth) and weighing at around 16 grams.

Panasonic has unveiled the world’s thinnest speaker. The device which intended to be used on mobile phones is measuring only 1.5mm thick, that is exactly 40% smaller than the previous measurement (only 2.5 millimeters thick). Panasonic claims that despite being sliced nearly in half, it will boast the same great sound quality you’ve come to expect from a speaker the size of a postage stamp. Panasonic will start the production in May 2007.

“Now that Apple’s completed the Intel transition, hand-wringing about the future of products for PowerPC-based Macs is pointless, especially when it comes to games. If you haven’t replaced your Mac with an Intel-based system, you need to start thinking about it, or you’re going to be left in the dust. Because a well-ported game running on a iMac Core 2 Duo often runs better than it does on a high-end Power Mac G5, and that difference in performance is going to continue to increase over time.”

Mobiles2go has recently released the i-Kids child safety device featuring one-touch emergency button that dials four numbers in sequence until the child’s call is answered. In the unlikely event that no-one answers, the call is diverted to the i-Kids service desk where a trained operator can offer assistance.

The GPS functionality means that parents, using an application on their own mobiles, can pinpoint a child’s location within 10 to 20 metres in seconds. The tracker works even if the i-Kids device is switched off. It can also be programmed to send an alert to parents if the device strays out of set safety zones.
