Ipod Unveils iTunes 7

Apple Ipod still enhancing its reputation by releasing the latest iTunes 7. The features of iTunes 7 include ability to download of near-DVD quality at resolution of 640×480 (ie. 4 times higher), expanded parental controls, iTunes video playback window with n-screen controls and the new Cover Flow view to browse the entire video collection by cover artwork visually. The iTunes also offers downloads of popular video games for fifth generation iPods, including “Tetris,” “Mahjong” and “Mini Golf” from Electronic Arts Inc.; “Pac-Man” from Namco Networks America Inc., etc. The movies include Pirate of the Carribean, National Treasures and other selected Disney movies.

Epson PictureMate PM 280 & PM 240

Epson’s new PictureMate PM range (ie. PM 280 and PM 240) have identical features. The key features include ability to store photos onto CD or print directly from a CD with internal CD drive. Epson PictureMate PM 280 and PictureMate PM 240 are portable printers; which makes it home-convinient and also cost-effective (20p a photo). PictureMate PM 280 will be available in October for a price of £199.99 (tax included).

Samsung t-509 Announced

Samsung t-509, the slimmest bar phone in the market received best show award at CTIA Wireless 2006. The Samsung t509 has an ultra-thin profile of only 9.8 mm. The t509 features high-speed EDGE connectivity and Bluetooth wireless technology to support delivery of entertainment and information on-demand services. The talk-time battery also lasted for 9 hours and 55 minutes. The price starts from $200 with two year contract.

JVC Breath Sphere Speakers

JVC “Breath Sphere” Speakers will not be launch until mid-2007, according to Impress. This natural sound speakers consists of eleven speakers, each covered with a “Weibull curve” diaphragm that vibrates, delivering a non-directional, natural sound field. The speakers are available in black and white colours. The price and the exact availability dates is not yet confirmed.

Samsung Unveils Samsung GX-10 DSLR

Samsung will launch the new GX-10 digital SLR; which has 10.2 mega pixel. Other key features include, dust-resistant CCD, optical image stabilization, 2.5-inch display, impenetrably built, resistant to water, sand, or other potentially harmful materials, one-touch RAW button, continuous shooting at 3 fps (frames per second).
