Zox, a company in Japan, releasing a new small and compact dvd player look a bit like CD player. The look is definitely stylish and there is no other comparison in the market at the moment. The Zox’s dvd player is featuring DVD-R and CD-R/RW as well as accompany with additional skins that can be downloaded from the company’s website. For those who are interested in purchasing one of this unique and compact dvd player, it will be available in Japan for about $58.

Hitachi has recently announced the released of Prius Air Type R TV Desktop PC, featuring a 17-inch (1280×1024) LCD display, 160GB hard drive, MultiDVD burner, 3.2GHz Intel Celeron D CPU, a 512MB of main memory and of course it’s also equipped with a TV tuner.
The Prius Air Type R TV Desktop PC is available for around 1,050 EUR.

Fresh Releases of Pioneer Car Entertainment Systems

Pioneer will be releasing five new models of its Car Entertainment Systems with built in 30 GB hard drive and 7″ wide TFT-LCD according to Ceatec Japan 2006. The five models include; AVIC-HRZ99, AVIC HRZ88, AVIC-HRV22, AVIC HRZ99G, AVIC-HRZ88G. The first two feature MD deck, and the last three models will have a terrestrial TV tuner. With seven-inch screen, all five models will give clear directions of GPS and navigation map. The other features include; optional iPod adapter, CD/DVD drive that supports MP3/WMA discs, FM tuner and amplifier (50WX4ch output).

Toshiba HD-A2 And HD-XA2

Toshiba announces the release of HD-A2 and HD-XA2 on 14th September, 2006. The new features of both HD-A2 and HD-XA2 include 1080 output capability. The HD-XA2 features 1.3. HDMI for 36-bit (RGB or YCbCr) color depth, whereas HD-A2 supports 297MHz / 12 bit Video DAC with high-quality, 4x oversampling. The picture quality colour settings included in both to enables you to adjust the contrast, brightness, color, noise blocker and edge enhancement. The HD-A2 will be available in October 2006 for $499.99. The HD-XA2 will be available in December at a price of $999.99.

JVC Breath Sphere Speakers

JVC “Breath Sphere” Speakers will not be launch until mid-2007, according to Impress. This natural sound speakers consists of eleven speakers, each covered with a “Weibull curve” diaphragm that vibrates, delivering a non-directional, natural sound field. The speakers are available in black and white colours. The price and the exact availability dates is not yet confirmed.
