Boom Blox (Wii) Reviews
Gamespot reviews the Boom Blox (Wii) and writes;
“It stumbles with certain game modes and its effort to appeal to kids with a poorly integrated story is ham-fisted at best, but Boom Blox is still a good game. Most of the hundreds of puzzles are fun to play alone, and it’s also entertaining to taunt friends during their turn as they try to keep a tower from collapsing. The ability to create your own levels adds quite a bit of value as well. In terms of where it ranks in Spielberg’s body of work, Boom Blox is no Schindler’s List, but it’s a heck of a lot better than Hook.”

IGN reviews the Boom Blox (Wii) and writes;
“The developer has coupled the control gains with a complex and dynamic physics system for equally entertaining results. Every block in the game has its own set of realistic physics and all of the blocks react to each other as they would in the real world, with real gravity. Additionally, the blocks react uniquely to different balls, from baseballs to bowling balls, which are thrown their way.”

GamesRadar reviews the Boom Blox (Wii) and writes;
“The game’s impressive physics makes the blocks bounce off one another and tumble to the ground with convincing realism. It’s possible to set up long-range shots where you send one brick bouncing into another, some distance away, and getting it to work is a matter of pure skill. The only unpredictable part is when you have to guess the power of your throw - the harder you lob the remote, the further the ball will go. It’s tough to get consistently right.”

Kotaku reviews the Boom Blox (Wii) and writes;
“Great Character Design: What’s a game without character? While Boom Blox is loaded with plenty of entertaining character design, it’s in the adventure mode that the funky characters really shine. The four themed worlds were “creatively directed” by Spielberg himself and some of the sizzle seems to have made it through the process. Also, it’s hard to go wrong with mini-fig like monkeys, cows and kittens in my book.”
