BlackBerry Curve 8320 Reviews

Digital Trends reviews the RIM Blackberry Curve 8320 and writes;

“The WiFi worked fine, but actually was just a hair or two faster than T-Mobile’s already fast EDGE/GPRS network. The Blackberry is also compatible with T-Mobile@Home, a wireless setup that allows you to combine cell phone minutes and Skype-style VoIP calling…Highs: Good price with rebates; comfortable mouse and keyboard; good online speed. Lows: Too expensive for average consumers without rebates; not a revolutionary leap in Blackberry ”

BCheights reviews the BlackBerry Curve 8320 and writes;

“The form factor is small, only slightly larger and thicker than a Motorola Razr. While the chrome around the camera and screen looks nice, it scratches easily. While there is no screen on the back of the phone for taking “self-portraits,” Research in Motion smartly added a mirror on the back to mitigate the lack of display.

MobileBurn reviews the BlackBerry Curve 8320 and writes;

Pros: Great size/shape, 3.5mm jack, solid keyboard and trackball, good battery life, UMA/WiFi. Cons: UI needs an overhaul, browser needs more work.. I give it a “Highly Recommended” rating.

PCWorld reviews the BlackBerry Curve 8320 and writes;

“Those glitches aside, the 8320 is an excellent phone. Like all BlackBerry units, it is a stellar e-mail device, with support for ten accounts. The included camera (which sports a flash and a 3X digital zoom) took adequate but–like many camera phones–occasionally blurry snapshots.

WirelessInfo reviews the BlackBerry Curve 8320 and writes;

“We really like the BlackBerry Curve…T-Mobile also operates an extensive network of Wi-Fi hotspots, so for a small additional fee you can find Wi-Fi access in many places, which makes browsing the Web a much nicer experience. Anyone looking for a great business device with decent multimedia features in fairly small package should consider the Curve. ”

LaptopMag reviews the BlackBerry Curve 8320 and writes;

“You really can’t go wrong with either the AT&T or T-Mobile BlackBerry Curve, but those looking to ditch the landline should consider the latter because of its ability to make unlimited calls via Wi-Fi for an affordable price. For $50 more, you get a smart phone that can be your only phone.”

PCMag reviews the BlackBerry Curve 8320 and writes;

“The BlackBerry e-mail system is still unmatched. I set the service up with Gmail, Microsoft Exchange Web Access, and Yahoo! Mail accounts within minutes. The e-mail system also supports attachments, displaying picture attachments, and PowerPoints..”

MobileTechReview reviews the BlackBerry Curve 8320 and writes;

“As with most RIM devices, the Curve is responsive and performs most tasks quickly..The BlackBerry Curve 8320 is an exciting device. The Curve’s UMA and T-Mobile’s excellent Hotspot@Home service sets the 8320 apart from the 8300 and most other phones on the market.”

CNET reviews the BlackBerry Curve 8320 and writes;

“The good: Offers integrated Wi-Fi; nice, sleek design; spacious QWERTY keyboard; 2-megapixel camera; good call quality. The bad: Camera can’t record videos; no 3G support; Web browser isn’t quite as sophisticated as those on competing smart phones. The bottom line: The RIM BlackBerry Curve 8320 is the best BlackBerry we’ve seen to date as it offers Wi-Fi, best-of-breed design, and excellent performance.”
Rating: ★★★★☆

GearDiary reviews the BlackBerry Curve 8320 and writes;

“I’m on the fence as to whether I’ll keep this device. I already have an 8300 from AT&T — so I’m not in the honeymoon stage of “loving the new toy”. Everything I can do on the 8300 I can do on the 8320. The real reason I’d keep the 8320 is to take advantage of Hotspot @ Home and the MyFaves calling plan (allowing free calls to 5 contacts).”
