+ REVIEWS:

NotebookReview have reviewed the Asus V6J and wrote;
“This is by far one of the most incredible laptops I have ever owned, or been privy to play with extensively. It is sleek and stylish and with the Core 2 Duo CPU it is smoking fast. It has great GPU power for the money and is highly customizable from a number of places. I recommend BTOTech for the great buying experience, fast ship times, and generally knowledgeable crew. I hope this machine has good longevity and holds up well…it seems, by the feel of it so far, that it will. The only thing I would like to see for this machine that’s not offered is widescreen as well as a fingerprint reader for security and convenience.”

CNET have reviewed the Asus V6J and wrote;
“The V6J’s performance was a pleasant surprise, beating out the Toshiba Satellite P100 despite the latter being a multimedia desktop replacement part. Its battery life was also impressive compared to the P100 (as expected), but it still lags behind other thin-and-lights in this respect. The bottomline: The ASUS V6J is a reasonably compact thin-and-light notebook that has the added bonus of being quite powerful as well.”

PCPro have reviewed the Asus V6J where they rate the notebook 3/5 and wrote;
“There isn’t much to dislike about the V6J - it’s very quick, has plenty of storage capacity and, providing you forget about the latest games, there isn’t much you can’t do with it. But it lacks unique selling points, and the price is simply too high. For this much, you could buy the more desirable Sony VAIO VGN-FE11S and pocket over £100 in change. You’d also get 60GB more hard disk space and a longer-lasting battery. Against such tough competition, the V6J looks distinctly ordinary.”

ZDNet have reviewed the Asus V6J where they rate the notebook 7.6/10 and wrote;
“We’re getting used to impressive benchmarks from Core Duo notebooks, and the Asus V6J proved no exception. Considering that it uses the third fastest CPU in the family and has 1GB rather than 2G of RAM, its MobileMark 2002 score of 256 compares well to those posted by Acer’s 2GHz/2GB TravelMate 8204WLMi (281) and Fujitsu Siemens’ 2.16GHz/2GB LifeBook E8110 (281). MobileMark 2002 runs nine applications (Microsoft Word 2002, Excel 2002, PowerPoint 2002, Outlook 2002, Netscape Communicator, McAfee VirusScan 5.13, WinZip 8, Macromedia Flash 5 and Adobe Photoshop 6.0.1) in a simulated real-world workload.”
